Designing a premium user experience for Bugaboo’s digital touchpoints

Background

Premium brand experience

There was a significant difference between the high-quality product experience and the digital experience on Bugaboo’s website. The need arose to balance the functional aspects of driving sales with the emotional appeal of Bugaboo’s high-end products, ensuring a premium brand experience throughout the user journey.

To address this, as part of the internal creative department I am leading the redesign of key components on both the website and email campaigns. The visual approach is being elevated through the use of lifestyle imagery, clean layouts, and well-balanced typography. These design improvements aim to enhance the product experience and present all the necessary information in a seamless, premium way.

In close collaboration with SEO specialists and developers, components – at every stage of the sales funnel – are continuously optimized based on test results, to further improve user experience and performance. Close collaboration with the creative and content teams ensures that the user experience is aligned with the brand’s premium image.

Results

The product experience is now more closely tied to the quality of Bugaboo’s products, providing prospects with a fully immersive, premium digital experience. Users can explore all aspects of the product online, whether on the website or through email, in a way that reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation. Additionally, there is now better cooperation between the digital and creative teams, with everyone understanding each other’s interests more clearly, which has led to a more seamless workflow and aligned goals.
